ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference
Each spring, the ACC Meeting of the minds conference provides the opportunity for Florida State students to present their research to students and faculty from around the Atlantic Coast Conference. The conference welcomes research from every discipline, therefore participating by either presenting or attending is a great opportunity to see the types of research being done in all disciplines from around the conference.
The Third annual conference will be hosted by Florida State on April 18- 19, 2008.
The deadline to submit abstracts is January 25, 2008. The application is available here.
National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research is held annually in the spring. The Spring 2008 conference will be held at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD on April 10 – 12, 2008.
This conference is cross disciplinary and provides students with the opportunity to present their research at a national level as an undergraduate student. This is great experience for continued research in graduate school.
Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society Poster Competition
Every fall semester, Tri-Beta has a poster competition open to all students in the natural sciences.
