Whether it’s a semester-long Directed Individual Study (DIS) or an Honors in the Major thesis, undergraduate research is an exciting way to engage in an academic discipline outside of the classroom. Undergraduate projects can take the form of experiments in a laboratory, projects using archival material, fieldwork, interviews, surveys, artistic and creative work, performances, and creative writing – and they are all available to students at the Florida State University.
